"Eloise," Penelope said, somewhat breathless from trying to shake off Hyacinth.
"Penelope." But Eloise's voice sounded curious. Which did not surprise Penelope; Eloise was no fool, and she was well aware that her brother's normal modes of behavior did not include beatific smiles in her direction.
"Eloise," Hyacinth said, for no reason Penelope could deduce.
"Hyacinth."
Penelope turned to her husband. "Colin."
He looked amused. "Penelope. Hyacinth."
Hyacinth grinned. "Colin." And then: "Sir Phillip."
"Ladies." Sir Phillip, it seemed, favored brevity.
"Stop!" Eloise burst out. "What is going on?"
"A recitation of our Christian names, apparently," Hyacinth said.
"Penelope has something to say to you," Colin said.
"I don't."
"She does."
"I do," Penelope said, thinking quickly. She rushed forward, taking Eloise's hands in her own. "Congratulations. I'm so happy for you."
"That's what you needed to say?" Eloise asked.
"Yes."
"No."
And from Hyacinth: "I am enjoying myself immensely."
"Er, it's very kind of you to say so," Sir Phillip said, looking a bit perplexed at her sudden need to compliment the host. Penelope closed her eyes for a brief moment and let out a weary sigh; she was going to need to take the poor man aside and instruct him on the finer points of marrying into the Bridgerton family.

finished reading the 4th installment of the Bridgerton series, Romancing Mr.Bridgerton.

well truth to be told, it wasn't as interesting as the 1st three books. i recall putting down the book and surf the internet for three times!! O_O can you believe it?! i can't even remember which page i was on!

well here's my review on the book, but 1st things 1st...some synopsis.

Penelope Featherington has secretly adored her best friend's brother for... well, it feels like forever. After half a lifetime of watching Colin Bridgerton from afar, she thinks she knows everything about him, until she stumbles across his deepest secret... and fears she doesn't know him at all.

(if the 3rd book looks more like cinderella, this time, it looks more like the ugly duckling xD)

took this from Julia Quinn's Web itself (cept for that part in the bracket there) since most of the synopsis that i stumbled upon was rather too..detailed xD well where's the fun in that now?

so as i told you guys just now, the 4th book doesn't really capture me as the 1st,2nd & 3rd did. maybe because of the quite slow development on the storyline. As it appeared (A LOT of time i tell you) in the three 1st book, Colin Bridgerton is a very funny and bright and a very perfect character among all the Bridgertons. but in Romancing with Mr. Bridgerton, all of his flaws and things that i've never thought he have were shown. in a way, i was rather captured with the unperfect-ness of him but in the same time...well... he's just a little less fun than before. (well if not, then i think it'll be boring too as a matter of fact xD)

but in the 4th book, I can see how the main female protagonist, Penelope Featherington, developed herself from being a "wallflower" to somebody who is well respected and more than who she is before. Her character developed a lot, and in the same time, she helped or rather encourage Colin Bridgerton to find his trueself. I just simply love the twist of the story (eventhough i still think the 1st three book got more twists...) and the feeling of oh-my-god-finally!!! mostly on the fate of Penelope ;w; i just adore her character and it would seem extremely cruel if she didn't get her own "happily ever after".

There is of course a romantic scene between Colin and Penelope which makes me feel rather envious of Penelope.

this is the most...INCREDIBLE and most sweet line in the book by the main male protagonist!!! *sigh* when i think of all the Bridgerton series that i read, I won't mind living in their world. I envy how there's this sort of respect between the gentlemen and the ladies. NOT that i'm implying that the guys presently doesn't respect women... but yeah... you know what i mean. I would give anything to be part of their society. It makes women feel so... well... so... *contented sigh* I don't know how to put it into words.

i wish one day i would meet somebody that will respect me as i would respect him. And will just look upon me with pride, honor and respect as I will upon him. ;w; aih~ i'm being sentimental and cheesy. but hey~ who doesn't want to be treated like a "princess" especially by the one that we look up to... oh ok fine... especially by the one we love _-_ (hey i am a romantic person, well at least i think i am, but it doesn't mean that i could say it out freely, right? xD i shy oso~ LOL!!!!)

so yeah~ that concludes my review on the book~ additional rants included xD

hmm... i think i will rest my eyes for today... no more reading for now. but i'm still looking forward to the 5th book!!! "To Sir Philip, With Love" featuring Eloise Bridgerton!!! oh i adore Eloise so much!!!!!! xD can't wait!!!!

somebody should suggest some Hollywood people to make the Bridgerton series into movies man!!!!!!!!! trust me it will be a HIT!!!! MEGA HITS!!!! yeap~ (actually want's to see the Bridgerton brothers coming to life *ahem!!!*)

well other than that..... i wasted the whole day doing nothing other than reading u_u ; ON MY BED u_u ;;;; now if you would excuse me.... I wanna go to sleep~ xD

good news..and not so good...wait..wat am i saying... a very bloody-disappointing day for me. Well.. went shopping with Aurelia today... I bought 1 new shoes today after walking and whining like a crazy person (much to my despair, the shoes that i wanted is not in stock... then might bloody as well not DISPLAY that shoe on the ... display thing!!!!!!!!) oh, btw, this is the good side of the news. yeap... so we keep on walking, till finally~ i feel as if the light from heavens above shines on me (pfffftttt u_u reading too many novels did wonders to your language... LOL) I eventually find a shoe that i want _m_ yeah.....

THEN ON WITH THE BRIDGERTON SERIES 3rd NOVEL!!!!! 8D

........ and it was not in Borders *heart cracking* asked the guy whether can check in on other branches, "sorry, they don't have, and i can't seem to contact the Curve (or was it MidValley..) branch. If you could leave me your number, i'll give u a call whether got or not" *heart breaking* and i leaved my number... not long after that.... "hello~ miss ifa? (no, im president of the united states *rolleyes*) there's no stock for the book that you wanted" *heart shattered* "oh..ok thanks for your time" *heartless* ;A; uggghhh... PAIN!!!!!! EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL!!!!! and i was soooooo looking forward for the day i stepped into the bookstore dreaming that I'd have the book in hand pronto. I swear my heart stop beating for couple of seconds!! so~ after discussing wif orilia, I decided to go to Kinokuniya. it was a rather pleasant walk from Bukit Nanas to KLCC. too pleasant until I can't feel my legs and wished that KLCC can move by itself and inched towards our spot u_u. of course that was ridiculous (hey a human can dream D: ) so we finally reached. and I practically wanna do a sprint towards Kino, but too many human lingering around (yeah rite pfftt) xD

but again... to my disappointment, there is An Offer From A Gentleman but not by Piatkus publication u_u sad.... SAD!!!! SAAAAADDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!  so i was like, sitting on the floor, thinking of my bloody unlucky despair and disappointing day in front of the book shelves. So i asked the info counter, and well... "please leave your number and my colleague will reach you when new stock came in" *sigh* am i unlucky or wat??!!! so i went bek empty handedly.

so, i'm gonna wait for Kino to call me, and for the mean time, i'll read the e-book of An Offer From A Gentleman that i downloaded yesterday 8D (well hey~ i can't help it~ i will still buy the book tho just so you know xD) and I finished it in... umm...7-8hours? xD i can't help it!!!! it's soooo nice!!!

If the 1st and 2nd book is more warm, the 3rd book is... blue ;3; blue as in... awwwww...sooo saaadd!!!!!! ;A; kind of feel!!! and I LOVE IT!!!!!! it doesn't make the whole thing boring see... and of course, Julia Quinn portrayed all the characters nicely! no..PERFECTLY!!! it's amazing with 8 members of the Bridgerton (not including mother) she could portray each of them soooo differently!!!!! in the 3rd book, i learned a lot about the 2nd son of Bridgerton family. Benedict Bridgerton, is a very interesting character.

so obviously the 3rd installment from the series are a bit more dark, and give you a glimpse between life as an aristocrat and one with even lower ranks. In this book, you can also see, how Benedict try to get out of his brother and sisters shadows and be who he is despite what the society says. (some even recognizes him as "number 2" or simply "mr.Bridgerton") and as for the female protagonist, Sophie, how she was rather oblivious at 1st of her position being a "slave" to her stepmother n stepsisters, in the end, gave a big PUNCH in the stepmother's face (cough xD) and stand up tall.

in this book, the author (Julia Quinn) showed an even deeper bond between the mother, Violet Bridgerton, and her children. and how ranks and properties doesn't even bother her a bit especially in her son's choice for a bride. This is simply 1 more greatness of being part of the Bridgerton's family. when i read the book, i simply felt like joining the family members whenever their having a tea and talk...talk...and talk.

this is one of the reasons why I love the Bridgerton series so much. It's just not your average romance novel. it's more than that. it is simply amazing.

YEAP!!! i hope a did better on my reviews on books xD i just suck on doing reviews xD haha!!

so yeah!!! 8D bought the 4th book in advance 8D and i SWEAR i won't open it until i've read the 3rd book... well... i basically read it (on computer screen) so it counts 8D

xD hahahahahahaha!!! i bought The Mask of Zorro vcd today xD hell i'm so happy! i love Zorro ;w; dashingly handsome and mysterious~ xD and of course in a way, humorous.

didn't really get to buy any shirts and shoes today T_T I swear if i step into Sunway Pyramid again, I will vomit out all my organs. =_=

went to Popular and MPH but to my despair ;3; I couldn't find the 3rd book from the Bridgerton series, An Offer From A Gentleman ;A; so i was searching like a madman just now on the web. Search for Borders web... hell, malaysia punya borders tak ada website kah?!!!!! WTHBBQAYAMKFC!!! OAO isn't that just... just.... UNFORGIVABLE!!!! OAO so i went to Kinokuniya... of course i know Kino got the book. (pfft) because i saw it 2 days ago... or was it yesterday... hmm... so when i click "add to cart" well... lucky enough, need credit card, OR pay at the shop itself....... wow... *rolleyes* i don't even have a creditcard!! and MPH bookstore. They got it (well at least the web said they got it) =A= but don't feel like clicking the "buy online" button... so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's trip to Times Square 8D BORDERS!!!!! i really hope they got it (i want to get the Piatkus publication one. The cover are pretty...) if not...i swear to god i'll... *censored* and burn the shop down!!! t(OAOt )

well since i woke up at 3pm (8D reading book the night b4~~ ) went out for lunch...or can say dinner at Habib there... i ate rice + chicken + meat (so unhealthy... but so... local xD ;) , then went in to pyramid, bought baskin robbins ice cream, mmm mint choco chip HEAVEN! xD then... went to eat Crispy Popiah... then bought 1 Chocobon from Cinnabon..... then on the way home... 2 piece of chicken from KFC... take away of course (still got 1 piece left xD) ... yes... can you imagine how many unhealthy things i have consumed in 1 day? =_= ...no..in HALF day =____= ;;;;;; i really hope i won't take anything... high in calorie tmrw.... *cross fingers*

YAY!!!! finished reading the 2nd book from the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn. The Viscount Who Loved Me is AMAZING!!!! took me approximately... 7-8 hours ++ 8D The book is simply AMAZING that i just can't put it down!!!!! The way the author uses her words, the way she describe her characters... I SWEAR I can feel that the character is really alive and very hard to not fall in love with every single character!!!! ;w;

Julia Quinn is a GENIUS!!!!!!!!! all the humor... oh my god!! i just can't stop laughing!! i mean, imagine those gentlemen and gentleladies (? =_= ;; ) make jokes...like bloody hell.... JOKES!!!! OAO well of course they joke... but seriously... i was seriously into all the jokes in the book! it is natural, witty, but filled with family-ness kind of feel you noe. and not to forget the sarcasm!!! oh my god!! i love sarcasm! xD and all the interesting scenes between the main characters (Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sheffield) it is purely amusing *contented sigh* xD imagine the girl trying her best to step on the guy's feet while dancing LOL! xD and honestly... the Bridgerton family members ROCKS!!!! (particularly feel in love with Colin and Anthony xD) this book is simply WOW!! (so hard to explain in words xD)

will try and get the 3rd book tmrw 8D WHEEEE!!!!!!

 haven't feel this exited when reading a book for a long time xD (last one was perhaps... Twilight.. yeaa.... ) YES!!!!!!!!!!! *squeeelll*

hmm... i hope his story will be ok.. there's not much appearance from Benedict on the 1st & 2nd book... so i'm not really familiar with him. can't really feel the attachment with his character (COLIN RULEZ!!!! xD)

well.. i was reading the ending for the new novel that i bought for the second time (i adore the story soooo much!! xD ) the title is The Duke and I , by Julia Quinn, so i did a little bit of research on it. I discovered something very interesting hence this entry is created LOL (2nd entry for today xD)

The Duke and I was part of the Bridgerton series by her of course. so it really surprised me when i found out that the book that i bought, was actually the 1st one for the series xD TALK ABOUT COINCIDENCE!!! OwO i found it amusing really. It feels like... you know... like it's some sort of sign where I should be collecting her books!!! though i think i will eventually. I found out that, her books are really my type!! xD (well one of it...) so I think i'll start collecting the Bridgerton's series now! I feel so exited and thrilled because i will have more books to read in the future wheee!! xD



The Duke and I... featuring the eldest daughter of Bridgerton's family, Daphne Bridgerton. 1 of the thing that i found really funny with the bridgerton's family is that... the way they named their children. it's in alphabetical order!!! hahahahaha!! xD (well of course their family is very funny too~ and loving ;w; awww) The series is comprised of eight books in which each of the siblings finds true love. Each book is set against the backdrop of upper English society during the period of Regency England. In the novels, the Bridgertons are well respected and favored among British society. The Bridgertons are an extremely loving and tight-knit clan.

Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory and Hyacint. 8 siblings all in all and 1 widowed mother xD all the titles in this series:
