holiday is so friggin boring omg =A= i wanted to sleep, but i guess i got too bored that I couldn't even shut my eyes!! can you believe it??

so i had a quick lunch. trying to watch my diet u__u my weight has been sky rocketing high, it's getting a bit worrying OTL

ate a small bowl of beef porridge + oyster sauce, and i'm probably the only person in this house that uses plastic spoon. i just don't like it when the metal spoon hits my teeth. haha.

after what seems like ages, i've finally managed to force myself into cleaning up my room!!! took a before after image, but decided not to post it up. save myself from forever being embarrassed u_u ; ... OK FINE!!! but not without some heavy mosaic effect HMPH!!

managed to snap just 1 pic tho. bought a new black... shirt... thingy. was experimenting on how it will look like on my formal wear. i have to say, it's not THAT bad 8D (tho i thnk this picture made me look like i'm pregnant or smthng =_= ;;)

man!! i sound so sissy!!! OTL did a favor to my friend. hope this helps! i really love my friend's survey. felt very serene doing this. it made me think about stuff too.

first things first, i'll tell my family how much i love them. i would personally tell each one of them what i particularly love about them, their quirks, their jokes etc etc and what i don't like about them. i will tell them everything that i think can be adjusted/ changed in my point of view, in hope that they will and make the family even perfect.

2nd i will tell my bestfriends how i love them sooo much that they are my rays of sunshine on a cloudy day. thank them for standing up to my every whims no matter how annoying i can be. thank them for all the things they have done for me, thank them for all the little (and huge) gifts they gave me and that i seriously treasure them with all my hearts. thank them for the times we spent together and thank them for existing. i could wish for nothing more :)

3rdly what i will do is to tell each and everyone of my friends/ acquaintances thank you for giving me a small part of their life. get to know me even for a bit.

4th; tell the person that i like/ have a crush on, that i like him. even if he does not respond to my feelings the way i do, i will still appreciate the moment he had spared for me throughout his entire life. I will wish him the best in life. :)

5th; i would wanna spend the last moment of my life with my friends and family. i want them to tell me jokes instead of mourning the moment i would be gone. have fun. eat cakes. sit somewhere green and grassy, with gentle wind blowing on my face as i take in the forms, characteristics and quirks of each and every one of those who are by my side at that particular moment and engraved them in my head. i would like to smile to myself and think about how lucky i am to have & know each and everyone of them.

IF lets just say the person that i like returned my feelings, i would wanna hold hands with him and lay my head on his shoulder till my heart stops beating.

yeap. perfect. : ) just typing this out made me feel so happy and calm T v T what about you guys? what if you have 1 minute/ hour/ day to live? how would you want your moment to end? type it out!! and do share it with me!

i was very frustrated today. everything seems to anger me somehow. EVERYTHING!! even when somebody asks me a question about where i wanna go, what i wanna eat, you name it!!! it's like, i'm ready to explode any second!! just push the wrong button, and i'll go BABOOOMMM!!!

wanted to find somebody to let the steam off, but everytime, EVERY FRIGGIN TIME, i wanted to sms somebody i'll be like "what if this person is busy? what if this person is spending time with ossum bunch of people and i'm there, bothering him/her about my sad sad very sad pathetic situation? and i don't think sharing about my sad sad very sad pathetic situation will do this person any good eh?" T___T do you guys understand my dilemma now??!! i need my zen!!!

i remember talking to this guy, who happens to be the owner of this longhouse that we stayed at during our field research few weeks ago. he was a graduate from psychology (i think) major. so i asked a few things about myself. what does he see when he looked at me? what was his 1st impression about me? he told me, i was the 1st person among all my 9 other friends that he remembered. 1; it's because the 1st time i saw him, i said something like "man, this guy look so scary!" well i didn't realize i said it out loud!! haha so he remembered me right there & then. 2ndly, i was the one who contacted him during the whole process of booking the rooms. i was the middle person. so he remembered my voice. 3rdly; he noticed that i am a very talkative person, easy to get along with, a very fun person. 4thly; i have the leadership quality in me (... i don't know abt this u_u) and he also told me that, in the outside world, i most probably won't have any problem adjusting myself to the people, the environment, the society.

1 thing that bugged me throughout the whole, heart-to-heart sharing, if i can call it that, is... well, the sole question that i really wanted to ask, how do i open up to people?

I know i may look like a very extrovert type, well maybe i do, especially when it comes to socializing with people, talking about light & easy things. but when it comes to talking about topics that is a little bit deeper than i usually talked about, i can feel myself shutting up. it's like, i am scared to say anything and even feared that i will blurt out something involuntarily. I did that once before, talking about something that i shouldn't, but i think i should in a way, but maybe i shouldn't (YOU GET WHAT I MEAN??!!) and i went home regretting everything that i told to that said person. at the same time though, i can feel this heavy weight lifting up from my shoulder. it's the spur of the moment thing i suppose. i was too relaxed and my said friend was relaxed too and sharing stuff related to life. i guess i really did get caught up with the moment. but i assure you, this kind of moment doesn't happen very often in my life u_u

so back to the said topic, i wanted to ask him about this problem of mine, but i don't know what happened in the end, everything just went wrong! well not really. basically in the end, the answer that i really want never came.

but so far, i am blessed with a good friend that will constantly ask me about stuff. things that i will never thought of asking others, and this in a way, trained me, albeit very slowly, into opening up to people even more. well people being that said friend only so far LOL but i am trying!!!

*sigh* was really in a very very bad mood today. so i want to apologize to those (especially my twitter follower) that saw my rant/ bitch anywhere online T_T i swear i don't do it THAT often. so please forgive me.

My Sotsugyou Album ~ Doukyuusei Sotsugyousei Official Fan Book arrived 2 days ago! HAPPY!!! ECSTATIC!! AAAHHH!!! SO HAPPY!!!!!! snapped some pictures but not much. if you wanna see more, BUY THE BOOK!

i was quite lucky to be able to pre order the book few weeks before it was released! 8,D so happy. won't be doing any detailed review tho coz i suck at doing those stuff *cough* will put some points for each pictures maybe. SO ON WITH THE PICTURES!

the cover is LOVELY! i love the silver shiny text on the binding & cover so much! this artbook look extremely elegant in my p.o.v. aahh kusakabe & sajou!! need to remind myself to wrap this book! ... and all of my other books OTL

those who pre ordered & get the early copy will receive a special sticker which looks like paper doll of kusakabe & sajou! aaaahhhh will never use this EVER! too precious!

nakamura sensei even included kusakabe & sajou's age... thingy (whatever you call that). to be able to see sajou & kusakabe when they were still kids made me feel like a pedophile 8,D SO CUTE AARRGGHHH!!!!!!

this book also includes a lot of nakamura sensei's working process!!! ranging from coloring her artworks with watercolor, editing with photoshop, and the way she do her manga page! from story development all the way to her inking process!!

AAHHHH GODLY SKILLS!!! 8,D

this book also includes few pages of the things she have, her work station etc etc 8,D

and when i thought things can't get any better than that, it apparently can!!!!! a few pages of full colored comic pages of kusakabe & sajou!!! AUUGGHH it was too sweet!!! i swear my teeth were aching the entire time i was staring at it!

went out shopping the other day, didn't really get anything much OTL cept for 3 pair of jeans & 1 cute bag. and i spent whole day walking around too OTL life is hard when you are picky OTL tho i really love that bag i bought hahaha XD

yeaahh. there goes my money OTL also bought Red Cliff 1 & 2 collectors set (눈ㅂ눈) and also Zee Avi's new album Ghost Bird. twas a close call between Zee Avi & the king's speech (or something) but yeah, that shop suddenly went & play Zee Avi's album, couldn't help myself trolololol XD damage done = 160+ (including the bag)

AND I FINALLY GOT IT hahahha OTL i don't even...

i was staring at the piles of comic books that i have on my shelf and i happen to come across Samurai Deeper Kyo. so i read it. and got hooked yet again! LOL OTL OTL & i've finally finished reading samurai deeper kyo!!!!!!!!!!! never read it till the end. so i am glad i did!!!! 8,D SO EPIC!! my blood was boiling the whole time!!! and even though i prefer hot guys over chicks, i am satisfied with the amount of fan service in this manga!!! LOLOLOL

ever since i 1st read this series few year ago (it was such a long time ago!!! O__O i feel old OTL) i have fallen in love with Kamijyo Akimine's style!! the way he draw men *swoons forever* even the way he draw female figures are pretty!!! 8,D need more manga like this T v T

yeah... i just wanna say that. hahaha ....... *sigh* i felt very empty & lost now that i've read the whole series till the end OTL SO!!! i shall give another work from Kamijyo Akimine a try!!! 8D BRB! OFF TO READ CODE:BREAKER!! 8D

8,D MY BOOK ARRIVED TODAY!!! what a pleasant surprise!! totally didn't expect it to come today! Kinokuniya really weren't kidding with that "2 working days" statement LOL

everything arrived in 90-95% good shape. my outer jacket is a bit wrinkled and my mom's vampire diaries box set cover has a slight tear at the bottom. but all is well. if only the shipping price is not so friggin expensive 8,D i'd be ordering books from kino everytime pfftttt

I remember during college years, everytime, everytime i see this book on the shelf in the library, i was tempted to snuck it out of the library tsk. so finally i owned it. twas a close call (ok maybe not) between shigenori soejima's artwork and this, but i decided i need more landscape sort of books than characters. so yes. i am satisfied! just 1 thing tho, if only the size of this book is as big as kazuaki's artwork T v T it'll be even more ossum. oh well!!! managed to flip through the book (*swoons*) so a bit of pictures! i know there are TONS of websites featuring this lovely artbook with fantastic reviews, but for my own record, i'm still gonna post some pictures up 8D but not gonna do any reviews since a lot of other web has done it before. so google it! LOL

(ﾉ ´ヮ` )ﾉ *:･ﾟ✧ excuse my major inconsistency in picture editing teeheeeee the colors are like so different for each picture i don't even OTL

personal favorite piece so far. fell in love with this classroom hallway in late afternoon picture. feel so, melancholy for some reason 8,D i wanna be in this scene.

even though he uses reference from real pictures to create his work, he added his own godly touch that makes the entire book even more... nnggghhh... GODLY LOL his color sense is really good 8,D wish i could have a good color sense as him too!!!!!! i shall work harder!! -THUMB-

size is abt the same with tekkon kinkreet artbook O v Q aahh to have 2 godly talented masters' books, i hope their talent will rub on me just a little bit LOL

:9 so i was cleaning up my room yesterday (was actually on a ladder cleaning my fan) when my mom told me the furniture people are coming. YAY!! 8,D i am happy!!!!! like finally! my own bookshelf! i never had one!!!! T v T so i am really happy (ﾉ ´ヮ` )ﾉ *:･ﾟ✧ . PICTURES ARE IN ORDER! lol

HERE IT IS!!! went to 3 furniture stores & the last one had what i wanted!!! 8,D and it was the nearest to my house too OTL wow. couldn't believe my eyes/ luck/ everything!!! this cost 199 8,D and i thought it'd be more expensive since it very solid! and the wood is thick!!! imagine my surprise! 8,D

i brought along an artbook with me while hunting XD when ever i saw shelves that caught my eyes, i'll take out the artbook and put it on the shelf LOL!!! XD 1 or 2 salesgirl laughed when i did that. can't help it now can i? i must get the most perfect bookshelf or else! LOL! and that said artbook is the 1st book to be on my new shelf XD yes. it's Kazuaki's artbook LOL

only my one piece and dragon ball manga collection is on the 2nd row 8D since i love em so much. other mangas are at the bottom part of the shelf. heh heh heh XD

i need an extra shelf or 2 for my files & folders back during college years :T got nowhere to put em. no i'm not gonna put em on this shelf D8 -GASP-

i also bought (well technically my mom bought it for me tsk shameless daughter) Karigurashi Arrietty DVD & Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows pt 1 in BLURAY! 8,D AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH EM BOTH TOMORROW!!! YIPEEE!!!

running away from work OTL i don't feel like moving at all haha. My uni life is starting soon T___T i hv to cherish what time i have left sobs! i am nervous, yet excited at the same time! 8,D i'll be staying in the dorm for 1 semester (or was it 1st year) i wonder if they have water heater in the bathroom T____T do i have to join pointless activities then? -sigh- can't i just... study get back to my room, do something useful (well something useful in my p.o.v LOL i'm scared my uni timetable will crash with the AFA date!!! damn!!! TAT i am sad.

WELL!! on other note (sigh-ing forever) my friend Michi got me another book from Kinokuniya!! (she so nice, i wanna cry my eyeballs out 8,D)

MUSHISHI ARTBOOK!!!! GET!!! 8,D by god, i swear i'm gonna do a proper review for this artbook when i get my hands on it!!! i was a bit sad there's not even 1 decent review about this artbook online! TAT i've found 2 website that actually did some review, but it was so-so and one of it is in some language i could not understand haha.

one of those book that i don't really mind having screenshots from the anime 8,D since the anime itself is GORGEOUS!

and i got myself volume 4 & 5 for mushishi manga too~

was a bit disappointed since the Kinokuniya here won't ever import Sekaiichi Hatsukoi manga anymore TAT because of some "tight security" issue. bulls to this!!!! what we read is our own rights!!!! not like i'm gonna turn rebel or start terrorizing this "peaceful" country (pffftt) after reading some manga. god demmit T____T i was very sad!! and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi really have good romantic plot to it too TAT just my type of story man.

when my friend sms-ed me and told me about the news and asked me what else should she get for me then; i went blank. SERIOUSLY BLANK. didn't expect this kind of situation will occur 8,D and it also made me realize even if I read a LOT of mangas, i still am reluctant & super picky when it comes to really investing my money to buy em. So in the end, i just asked her to get me another 2 volumes for mushishi. hahaha. volume 4 is my most favorite cover from the series XD just saying~~ and there's still some leftover money left. Decided to just let her hold on to it. :9

AND I DID THE RIGHT THING BY NOT SPENDING IT ALTOGETHER BUYING RANDOM MANGA!!! because i've found 1 manga that i really want!!! 8,D

after Emma (which i really loved), Kaoru Mori did it again with Otoyomegatari!!! this manga took my breath away!! 8,D the plot, the characters, the story, the setting, the drawings, the lavish & intricate details to each costumes are simply BREATHTAKING! i really salute her! 8,D it really does show how she really love the culture and put A LOT of effort in really learning all details of this tribe's lives and culture. it's gorgeous! 8,D

MY CHILDHOOD, OFFICIALLY ENDED

I just watched the final movie for Harry Potter, and I enjoyed it tremendously! of course not without any complaints from me here & there about the movie hahahahaha but i have to say, it did the book pretty much justice. well... maybe 80-85% justice IN MY PERSONAL OPINION OF COURSE!! hahaha. it is still good!!! i highly recommend it to all you human beings out there!

I am a BIG fan of Harry Potter. as big as willing to line up at 5 in the morning just to get my copy for the Deathly Hallows on the day of its release (curse the time difference) and now, it all has finally ended D,8 i can't really rmmbr much of my... childhood days, but I rmmbrd Harry Potter and how i enjoyed reading the book when i was little. AH!! i am so proud to be a part of this...err phenomena? LOL 8,D

went with my sister n brother n niece, but decided to pick a seat which is faaaaarrr away from them but it was a good seat! and i was happy! so i literary watched the movie alone with a cuppa hot coffee by my side :9 mmm as for the movie... I cried on some parts (though it was not as tear jerking as i expected it to be) I also found that the movie is less dramatic than the book on some parts (well maybe dramatic is not really the right word for it...) i just think i cried more reading the book than watching the movie 8,D

now... i have 1 less thing to anticipate in my life. 7 (ok 8) harry potter movie is enough. yes. it is enough.

Thank you JK Rowling for creating Harry Potter. you have made my childhood a lot more tolerable and full of adventure! made me look at this world in a more magical way. Also to all that has made the movie adaptation for it. I thank you all 8,D

OTL and i seldom blog about manga/anime related stuff unless i really really think it is really really worth it. and mushishi.. is WAAAYYY more worth it. i have to say it's a MUST to blog abt it LOL!!

I know it's a rather old anime/manga. but seriously.... it is just.... ARGH!! BEAUTIFUL!!! TAT ALL TIME FAVORITE DEFINITELY!! i mean.. COME ON!!! it won several award for both the animation & manga!!! "Mushishi won an Excellence Prize at the 2003 Japanese Media Arts Festival and the 2006 Kodansha Manga Award." - mangaupdates

I first heard about the series online i think. 3 or 4 years ago. upon watching the 1st episode. i was immediately hooked! why? great great concept!! interesting plot! just-right pace. incredible music. it's mind blowing in my opinion hahaha!

"The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display supernatural powers. Mushi are described as beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Due to their ethereal nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi.

One such person is Ginko (ギンコ), the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi master (蟲師 mushi-shi), traveling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them. The series is an episodic anthology in which the only common elements among episodes are Ginko and the various types of Mushi. There is no over-arching plotline." - WIKIPEDIA

it has 10 volumes for manga (1st released 1999) and 26 episodes for anime.

the overall art for Mushishi is breathtakingly beautiful. 8,D it's to die for if you ask me LOL just look at this manga cover! it has that ethereal serene feel to it which really gave a bit of a hint/feel on the Mushishi world and it's pulling you into it.

the animation for Mushishi is astounding! i really salute the director & production house. they really did justice in bringing the manga to life. i've compared the 1st chapter from volume 1 of the manga with the 1st episode of the anime, it feels like the manga itself came to life!! the overall mood are portrayed perfectly. all the mushi looked amazing & mysterious. the voice acting are very very well done too!! the soundtracks are beautiful. extremely beautiful. enough said.

if you are still unsure about this animation even after looking at those screen caps... i don't even =_= COME ON!!

i love it how each episode has a different and rather deep message that you will understand even better if you really put yourself in the characters shoes. it somehow really made me think more about life itself. that is how good it is.

i really love the moderate, almost slow paced of the overall animation/story. instead of making me feel bored, it did the exact opposite. i can feel myself being drawn into the beautiful story and wished to be part of it myself.

i really love the fact that Ginko, has a rather... normal, laidback-ish personality. XD i think i'll love him less if he had those cool or cold type of personality. he's calm, friendly & easy to like XD i anticipate the moment where he goes "yo" at strangers or people he knew. i love the way he handle things. i really am hopelessly in love with him T v T

SERIOUSLY? i'll rate it INFINITY out of 10 LOL it's one of the best anime/manga/story i have ever laid my eyes upon & i am a very picky human being when it comes to good animation. IT IS A MUST TO WATCH!!!!!!!

did you know that Mushishi has a DS game?!! i just discovered it last night and i was ecstatic!!!!! XD even if it was out centuries ago! LOOOLL ALAS! there is no English version for this T_T imagine my frustration playing. i could understand easy parts, but when it comes to the kanji ... OTL i gv up. but i am still giving it a go tho. -sigh- 1 more great game i won't be able to enjoy fully. WHY??!!!! somebody need to do english patch for this. like seriously.

8,D after contemplating with myself whether I should get it or not, finally i did!! -SOBS-

so how did it happen? ok you probably wouldn't wanna read this crap, but 8,D i guess i'm typing it out anyway. sentimental value you know. can reminisce when i'm like already 80 yrs old or smthng.

so yesterday i decided to went out with my mom n sister. i need to deposit some money for my nendo sada.. i mean sawako & might as well check the price for ps3 in sony center. so yeaaahhh went to sony center... and somehow ended up buying it instead OTL

so the damage has been done 8,D is officially BROKE. B.R.O.K.E OTL OTL

decided to pick up the white one instead of black. which resulted it to not match the home theater system at all LOL!!! 8,D somehow i got the HDMI cable for free and i have to say, after connecting it to the 40" SONY BRAVIA tv, my eyes could bleed due to the sheer ossumness & sharpness of the image SOBS but it was just a test. wanted to test out the console on that tv. my mom suggested me to get my own tv instead to avoid any... arguments with the guys at home (sports channels... football... you noe, those stuff pfffttt) maybe someday. i have faaar exceeded my budget 8,D i swear to god i'm not gonna purchase anything anymore for the upcoming months SOBS

I have yet to register the warranty stuff for my ps3, and I am not sure about registering to PSN either 8,D is it safe already? SOBS T___T I don't even have a proper name created yet (still USER1 lol) tempted to put mooncake OTL or anything related to the moon OTL yes i suck... or maybe.. nah. will think properly later on. so yes! so far i don't really have any game yet, cept for some demo stuff (little big planet, that..err..fat princess game and others still haven't try em out yet) i need something awesome. will hunt for games later on 8,D not now HAH!!

anyway, continuing with the journey. after we went to sony center, did some grocery shopping & went to this steamboat place for dinner. 8,D it was ok~~ located SUPER close to the beach i tell you!! can actually enjoy the sunset SOBS the best thing about living near the coast 8,D beach + sunset aaahh~~

it was a certainly happy day yesterday 8,D tho have to rush my work like hell after i get back home PFFFTTT slept at 2..3 am -facepalm- so i refuse to do any work today! IT'S SUNDAY FOR GOD'S SAKE D,8 i'm gonna do some personal work instead!! (like finishing up the next persona artwork i'm doing HAH!)

Fireflies in the Garden

i considered myself lucky to stumble upon this movie while i was browsing through the movie channels. tho the movie already started for abt 10 minutes when i get to star movies.

there is just something about this movie that struck me. it's just so... real. a story about a troubled family, how a loss of someone dear somehow bring them all back to the past (not time travelling kinda past...ok you probably knew that pffft) and slowly towards the road of reconciliation & changes. the whole movie is slow paced but instead of boring me, it somehow made me feel so relaxed. the actors & actresses really brings out the feel more. they really did a great job! the soundtrack is very very nice. it suits the whole movie perfectly. i really do feel at ease watching this movie 8,D despite all the... things the father did to the son T v T

ryan reynolds look so GOOD in here!!! (yes.. i used good instead of hot, or handsome... etc etc because i think good fits him perfectly in this movie LOL) i love it the way he remembers his mother i can really feel the love 8,D i can really feel how each individual have their own way of showing their love. 8,D it's beautiful T v T

so anyway!! i think i'd like to recommend this to people :E i love any movie that is related to family, the problem they face & they way they work out on a solution in the end. it's nice to see something that is... well... realistic i guess :3

drawing when you are on a ride in the car? XD i can feel sweat falling out of my pores like waterfall LOL!! all my initial sketch looked like some... i don't even know how to describe it. OTL doesn't look like a drawing at all.

managed to ink them in between traffic stops 8,D imagine glancing at the traffic light every few seconds just to see whether the light turned green so that i could lift up my inking pen as fast as the speed of light LOOOLL!! k i'm exaggerating but yeaaa...

then went out with my parents. went to a shopping mall. my mom, has been hooked with the twilight saga series OTL (i dun even) so we all went to the dvd store & she bought all 3 dvds. twilight, new moon & eclipse. OTL she is an edward fan hahaha!

as for me, i bought 2 sketch books, bright blue & red inking pen, 1 mecha pencil & a spare putty eraser D: i couldn't find any markers T__T that shop didn't sell markers wtf!! i am sad!! T___T i really wanna get skin tones, & some desaturated green, blue, peach & maybe gray. a bit disappointed.

but managed to get 2 sketch books!!!! i guess it's not a huge failure today. it was hard for me to find a sketch book that really caught my eyes! I love them black hardcover type T v T imagine my face when i finally found some!! (though it still couldn't rival my current sketch book. black hardcover & the whole thing is like... more than 1/2 inch thick 8,D)

also bought those 2 colored pens. i figured since i always use different colors for my artwork's lineart in photoshop, why not try it in real life?! 8D ohooo so yeah!

been doing a lot of traditional work lately. 8,D i'm having serious fun!! aaahhh

I thought this month i'll be like, the most free human being that has ever roamed the earth, but i guess i was wrong OTL was suddenly reminded of this doujin that i was suppose to submit by 1st of may (and the reminder was like... on the 7th OTL) was waaaaayyy behind schedule! OTL so i took like.. almost more than 3 days to do EVERYTHING. yes. by everything, i meant EVERYTHING. OTL i was so stressed. well, there's nobody else to blame but my own self i guess. it kinda slipped my mind OTL hahahhaha

TvT i guess in the end, professor layton won the fight. hahaha. I could play professor layton over & over again!! believe me. 8,D

I really wanna thank my friend who bought this for me from across the sea. TvT I was quite worried about the delivery but i guess everything turned out ok in the end. not even a single scratch to the book!! it arrived in perfect condition!!!!!!! so lucky to be having this because my friend's sister is working at Kinokuniya & she can get employee discount!!! TALK ABOUT LUCK!! OMG!!!!! 8,D

i went out yesterday with my dad n lil brother, they wanted to go to some education expo, but i'm not. So my dad dropped me off at some shopping mall & the 1st place i went to was 8,D shop that sells cd! OLOLOL!!! I bought myself Studio Ghibli dvd box set since the one that I bought before SUCK =_= NEVER EVER buy dvds from bookstore PFFFTT!!! quality is sooo low!! dvd my arse. I also bought Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva 8,D I am a very very VERY happy fangirl SOOOBBBSSSS

So i woke up early today (somewhere arnd 6-7 am) and watched Howl's Moving Castle for the 3456784567 times 8,D and then proceed to professor layton. but due to a lot of "distractions" (since ppl are already up & about pfffttt) i stopped watching & it wasn't even half way, not even quarter way LOLOLOL!!

then i went up to my room & decided to continue watching studio ghibli instead. so finally, for the 1st time, i watched Spirited Away!!! 8,D OH IT WAS UNDOUBTEDLY GOOD!!!!!! and of course i feel seriously motivated afterwards and did a fanart for it

Tokyo Crazy Paradise

I know i am outdated on recommending this (which pains me greatly) but hey, it's never too late when it comes to sharing great stuff now is there?

haven't been doing any manga recommendation for awhile now. Last night while i was drawing, I decided to take a break & just randomly download some shoujo mangas. IT SUCK. =_= ;; i mean like seriously. I downloaded a few of em and only 1 is worth keeping (even if I only understand like...75% of the story LOOLLL!!! will try & read it again someday I guess) pffft quite disappointed.

then I figured, maybe it's better for me to know what I wanna read & download rather than downloading crappy mangas. so i opted to search for 1 of my favorite genre, GENDER BENDER! 8D~ ahaann~

then I found Tokyo Crazy Paradise. the drawing looked very old fashion (published in 1996 if i'm not mistaken), but i know sometimes, a manga with this kind of style must be a good manga! so decided to download it.

AND IT WAS GOOD! well at least it was up to my standard. good enough to make me read the whole 19 volumes in less than 12 hours.

well it is good! i am not really good at giving reviews on stuff, but good stuff, is good! OTL good amount of humor, action, romance, & other stuff.

lazy monster on my shoulder

OTL i tried to make it my habit drawing at least 1 thing per day, but recently, my body feels very very heavy! i would spend my time on my bed, reading novels or playing ps2 (replaying okami!) sigh. so last week, I didn't touch photoshop for at least 2...3 days!!! imagine that! OAO was kinda guilty & worried (that i'd forget how to draw LOL!) so decided I just HAVE to DRAW something!! OAQ

so here's all the stuff that i managed to force myself into doing OTL

was super lazy but I managed to force myself into drawing something, and those 2 up there was created. OTL hence the bad quality n all haha

and also an abandoned artwork which I couldn't find it in me to abandon it any longer LOL! forced myself to finish this too. though i had fun doing it in the end hahahaha!!! w.i.p here

T___T as you guys have known abt the tragedy that have fallen on japan. Was quite worried when there was rumors stating that the tsunami will reach borneo too!! and since I was living somewhere in the borneo, and particularly Sabah, that news kinda made me worried you know. to think that i live near the coastal area too!!! OTL OTL OTL i don't even dare look out my window at the sea OTL OTL OTL

so after we heard the news, my dad quickly asked us to save all them important documents 1st. so we brought em all up to the 2nd floor. they said the sea level will increase starting from 6pm till midnight, and it was almost 5 when we were saving all them files n all.

so when i was abt to get out of the house, i looked around at the neighborhood... guess what I saw?

feel like head desk-ing for 1 straight hour believe me OTL OTL THAT UNCLE WAS BURNING HIS RUBBISH CASUALLY!!!!!! I was like...... excuse me~ tsunami? earthquake? japan? stay away from coastal area? hello???????!!!

OTL i don't even. I realized it was not only HIM... basically the whole neighborhood was acting as if nothing happened!!! OTL some was lounging on their balcony, some kids playing football in the park AND EVEN SOME FOREIGNERS PLAYING AT THE BEACH!!!!! WHAT THE FFFF!!!!!!!

well...

at least nothing bad happened... but seriously, if something really big happened here, i dread the death rates OTL seeing by how ignorant they are towards what happened OTL or was it just us, who took things too seriously? OTL OTL i don't even...

but then amidst all the worries & stuff TwT I am happy to received a lot of tweets from my friend asking me to be safe & take cover. SOBS thank you guys!!! Q A Q twitter really really ought to win some award for this. it really is convenient when it comes to incident such as this.

I am grateful to be safe T___T also thankful for having good people all around me SOBS!!!! I wish everything in japan will be fine.

some of my friends were having this "what was your ambition when you were a little kid?" talk on twitter, and it struck me how I was indecisive now as I was back then T__T ;; i mean... come on!!! i wanted to be a policeman, a doctor, radio host & even anchor woman!! i mean like... SERIOUSLY?!! i can talk loads of crap no doubt PFFFTTT & now... I am still unsure about what I wanna be T_T and I can't even put "when I grow up" at the back of that sentence PFFTT actually, i thnk i have decided on what I wanna do (so not convincing OTL). what I wish I could do & become! but i just.... don't know how to take that 1st step towards my dream!

It's like... I wanna become this but will this bring me to the right path? & by that i meant education wise. i'm getting myself a degree, but, I don't know... I'm really scared of choosing the wrong choice for my major. somebody told me it doesn't matter what degree you wanna get, which university you are enrolling into, the most important thing is the degree cert! and while you are doing that, you can always do some side business like drawing, sell books do something you like etc etc etc etc etc. but i don't want to just get a degree!! I want to learn what i really want to learn!! i wanna make the most out of it! not just for the sake of getting the qualification in the end but during the whole years in uni, i hated everything and wasted my time there without having "fun" and gaining anything out of it. I wanna learn what I am interested in & do side stuff too! life is too short to be wasted on things i don't even wanna do!

so for now, even if i am actually neeting *COUGH* I'm gonna try my best to improve on what I really wanna improve on. learn a lot of things from stuff that i read or have seen. I really really really wanna improve more!!!!! even if it's just for a tiny bit, I really really really wanna get closer to my dream.

so what is my ambition now? I wanna be a happy person, doing things that makes me feel happy & fulfilled. I know some would say "oh keep on dreaming, life is not that simple/easy" then for you who think like this, i really do pity you. ;D

finally all my boxes during college years arrived _-_ ;;;;; so basically, I have all my manga collections back in my hand Q v Q currently re-reading dragon ball HAHAHAAHH!!!! and enjoying it to the max!

I also somehow was featured in this dA group called "I draw boys" SOOOOBBBBSSS!!! i am happy.

there's also a 300 pages of storyboard book included in this limited edition set :,D so happy to see a detailed storyboard!! considering I loooove to do storyboard!! Q v Q this is great indeed! I can learn loads with this!!

there's also a mini artbook included 8D huke is 1 of my fav artist that draw girls! (of course red juice still tops my list ;D) I really love his strokes and choice of colors. also the designs to each 1 of his characters. beautiful... beautiful... -nods-

lately, I dream more often than not. it's fine with me as long as there's no UNdead who walks very slow, eats human and make "guuhhh gaarrr ggwaarrgghhh guurrrgghhh" sound OTL

so anyway I dreamt of myself alongside wf danny choo running on an F1 track OTL there're others too, but they were running towards their racing car. I rmmbrd I was wearing white racing suit, and danny choo was wearing darth vader suit LOOOLLLL!! XD but we deviate from the original path, and sort of... ran away. We tried to get to the other side of the racing track fence. so danny ended up lifting me over the fence & I went "NO WAY!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!! LET ME DOWN OMG!!!" and the next thing I know, we're over at his house LOOOOLLL!!! I had a bit of a tour & I saw some of his family WTF!! (I know!! this is getting crazier every second!!!) the whole family has their own camera! LOOLL!! anything that I did with Danny, shaking his hand, talking, camera flashes everywhere! WTF!!! XD & my grandpa is in there to OTL then it was bed time. Danny was sleeping in a very weird bed. It almost looked like a pencil case. I bet it's to ward of unwanted noises LOL! and miraculously, my friend, she appears to be sleeping in the same bed as I am. She looked so sad, so we had a pillow talk. She said her dad cares more about his dead company's boss's wife OTL and used up all his money on their family and ignored his own. I was like... "oohh ok. that's very evil of him" -awkward silence- then we sleep. or at least tried to. my back was facing hers, and she sort of, puts her hand on me. like partially hugging. My cold sweat was breaking LOL!!! after a few sec, I turned and told her "...this is not going to work. I feel so awkward man. take your hand away plz!! -shivers-" and she was like "eh? but I got no evil intention or whatsoever!" and I was like "dood!! I feel weird!" and then it was morning. LOOOLLLLL!!! and my dad magically appeared XD he was like "I can't find your name on the flight to Japan list!!! how can you get back to your hometown??!! you don't even have any visa!"

& I woke up LOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE EFFING KIND OF DREAM IS THIS???!!!!! OTL but it was fun tho. So decided to decipher some stuff from that weird dream of mine;

1- I love Danny Choo's blog!! and the person itself I guess. XD he is such a motivational figure! sometimes I will go to his blog just to up my spirit whenever I feel a bit down, or bored. certainly interesting way to pass time. His tendency to snap pictures 24/7 didn't missed my dream LOL

2- I've always wanted to visit Danny's working place Q v Q his house looks cool!!!

3- ...i missed my friends? i guess. LOOOLLLL!!!! I'm a cold hearted woman fffuuuuu!!! XD

not much of a new work from me. have some sketch.

on the left, is a character design for this 1 shoujo manga I'm workin' on. Work on it based on a story provided by the client. :E I am lucky he gave me a "creative rights" on this. I can actually design everything from my point of view 8D ...and the deadline is almost here OTL I should get workin' on it!

on the right side are my 2 still unnamed characters XD I'm working on a simple few pages manga for this OTL so far, I've drafted only 4 pages...well make it 3 1/2 LOL! decided to name it "Rain rain don't go away" OTL subject to change. but the odds are against it LOL! so yeah!!!

He's very... straightforward. Not scared to speak out his mind. He has a brother. 8D and he is sometimes scared of him. because of the age gap I guess. :T he always becomes a victim to his brother's plans. HEY!! look what I found while rummaging through my cd collections!! 8D (a very small cd collection *cough* no really...) need something 'new' to listen to OTL having 123456789854323456 different music folders, and I still can't find anything. OTL can't believe it.

have you guys watch the anime or even read the manga yet? if not... wow, where HAVE you been all these years!!??? XD was hooked after watching the 1st episode for the anime. The storyline is very deep and... well.. different. It's very dreamy like. I love it. makes you wanna get into the world itself and live there. Well... basically, go and wiki or google Mushishi eh? definitely worth it. Ginko is love LOL

About the music... well, 1 more reason for me to continue watching is the beautiful background music throughout the whole episodes! the music is very relaxing and hypnotizing if you ask me. there's not even 1 music that I don't like. ALL ARE LOVELY!! it's like... heaven for your ears. For those who never watch/listen/read this title (seriously?!) here's some vid; and believe me, there's a LOT more. sometimes, when I sleep, I will dream of characters & stories. Last night I dream of a bl manga storyline OTL I'm not sure whether it is something that I've read before, or something new altogether.

So here's the story (well it's for my record. who knows eh?) it's pretty blurry now OTL

It was raining. A young man, by the look of his outfit, it's as if he comes from a wealthy family (or smthng lk that) he was at the hospital, not sure why but it was there where he met this guy who looks as if he wanted to walk under the rain, but something held him back. I am not sure what happened afterwards OTL!!!! but it turned out that kid just now has some... special bloodline thingy. like.. descendent of some mermaid clan or smthng. OK!! I KNOW THAT SOUNDED LAME!!! it seem waaaaay cooler in my dream!! anyway!! His parents sort of got banished from the place that they came from, I don't know why, and they were cursed. they can never touch water that comes from the sky. I mean like... raw water from the sky, sea, river etc etc. (i guess processed water is just fine LOOOLLL!!) The kid was born after his parents were banished. So he dunno nothing. YET. so yeaaaaa... he met this young man, they became friends... etc etc... and everything that came after is a blur LOL OTL I feel like expanding the story more. But I'm still not sure whether it is from some manga or smthng. =A= any thoughts?

8D n i meant both chinese new year, and just new year. LOL!! may all of you guys have a prosperous year ahead!! just like how spock used to say it "live long & prosper" LOL!! ... i don't know why, but I always make use of spock when it comes to this sort of stuff! LOOLL!! so have some spock 1st before i continue

So today I've finished my commission!! Q v Q I am happy, i can die OTL so now quite free. still contemplating on whether I should open free art/sketch request slots for February. I figured I need to do a lot more original art man -facepalm- too much fan/requests is somehow limiting my creativity... WELL i'm not even sure if I have any to begin with LOOOLLLL!!!! but I enjoyed doing requests : ( I guess I'll thnk more about it. see how it goes haha

i realized i did a lot of headshots/half body drawings and now i'm slowly doing fullbody too. does that mean I'm improving? D: I really hope I am. how i used to avoid doing fullbody since i suck at it. I will try and improve slowly. GO IFA GO!!!

I don't do new year's resolution, but I do hope I can achieve some stuff this year. I really hope I can improve more! like MORE!!!! and I hope I will learn a lot more this year compare to the previous one. and plz oh plz!! let me get enough funds for a ps3!! OH PLZ PLZ PLZ!!!

p/s some friends of mine can't help wondering what the kid really is holding behind his back... he's actually holding a knife. overall, its a pretty bloody ending, but a steaming pot of good rabbit stew can make even you forget what happened earlier 8D -winks-

Sex Pistols

:T i just don't get why the title is "sex pistols" LOL!! compared to Yamane Ayano stuff, Kotobuki Tarako's stuff is waaaay milder!! LOL!!!! tho they also call it "Love Pistols" so yeaahhh. Was doing my daily random manga picks (bl, shoujo, any oneshot stuff) and I clicked this one. XD because of the title no doubt. I thought it was smhow related to mafia/yakuza or smthing LOL! (i love mafia/yakuza/bloody stuff :T ... ahem)

and... I'd DEFINITELY give it a 10 / 10 !!!! IT WAS THAT GOOOOOOD!!! ;_____; I can't rmmbr the last time I shed a tear when reading manga. especially bl manga. I'm pretty sure this would be the 1st! LOLOLOL! Kotobuki Tarako really did a great job in terms of story telling, character design, and maybe the concept of human = animal is not really that new, but the way she did it, makes it look fresh and unique! and bonus point for not having SUPER explicit scenes!! Q v Q i am happy!!!! I'd recommend it to EVERYONE!

the feelings for each characters are portrayed nicely. It's like, if the character is feeling sad, I can really feel it, if they are being lovey dovey, i'd get all warm n fluffy inside & there's this 1 scene, when Norio(Kunimasa's 'wife' LOL) said smthng lk "my body & heart is cold" SERIOUSLY, I can really feel the chill running up my spine!!! THIS MANGA IS ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT ONES I'VE READ SO FAR! for BL genre that is 8D
